Frequently Asked Questions

Trotta Learning Solutions offers coaching and resources for parents of children with ADHD or learning differences. My goal is to equip parents with the clarity, structure, and tools they need to support their child — and themselves — with confidence.

Who do you work with & what ages?

I work exclusively with parents navigating ADHD and executive function challenges with their child. Whether you’re struggling with behavior, routines, emotional regulation, or school issues — I’ll help you create a path forward.

Most of the families I support have children between ages 4 and 13, but strategies are always tailored to your child’s needs — not just their age. Whether you're navigating preschool meltdowns or school-age challenges, we’ll build strategies that work for your unique family.

How can parent coaching help me support my child with ADHD?

When kids struggle with transitions, routines, or emotional meltdowns, it’s often because the systems around them aren’t built with their brain in mind. I’ll help you build those systems — and support your child in thriving, not just surviving.

Can you help with the IEP process?

Yes — I help parents feel more confident and prepared when it comes to navigating the IEP process. While I don’t offer legal advocacy, I can support you by reviewing IEP documents, helping you clarify your concerns, and equipping you with the language and tools to communicate more effectively with your child’s school team.

Whether you're preparing for an upcoming meeting or feeling unsure about your current IEP, I’ll help you feel more grounded, informed, and ready to speak up for what your child needs.

What is Trotta Learning Solutions?

What is your coaching approach?

Coaching is personalized, practical, and designed to meet your family where you are. Together, we’ll work on calming the chaos at home by creating routines that stick, reducing behavior struggles, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening parent-child communication.

You’ll also gain tools to support school success — from building positive habits at home to navigating IEP meetings with greater confidence.

Every session includes actionable strategies and helpful visuals or planning tools.

Do you offer in-person or virtual coaching?

All parent coaching sessions are virtual. This allows for flexibility and comfort — and makes it easy to share visuals and templates that support follow-through.

How do I schedule a consultation or service?

Click any orange “Free Consultation” or “Get Started” button on my site to choose a date and time that works best for you.

What are your rates?

Coaching packages start at $150 for a single session, with discounts for multi-session packages. I offer a free 30-minute consultation to help you choose what fits your family’s needs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. I accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

What makes your approach different?

I bring the lens of a parent, educator, and ADHD coach. My support is practical, empathetic, and shaped by lived experience — so you're not just getting strategies, you're getting support that understands what this really feels like.

Can I work with you if I'm not local to NJ?

Absolutely. All sessions are virtual, and I work with parents across the U.S.

Can I reschedule a session? What's your cancellation policy?

You can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance using the link in your confirmation email. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Who are your services not for?

My services are for families ready to take action and try new strategies. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or legal advocacy, but it can complement those services with clear, practical tools.

How do I know which coaching package is right for me?

We’ll figure that out together during your free 30-minute consultation. I’ll ask a few questions about your current challenges, goals, and priorities — then recommend the package that best fits your needs and budget. You don’t have to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

What’s the difference between this and therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused and practical. I help you create structure, routines, and communication systems to reduce stress at home. It’s not a replacement for therapy, but many parents find coaching to be a powerful complement — especially when they’re ready to take action and try new strategies.
